What Management OS adds

On any of these stacks: your own week, in the same brief as the deals.

Monday's Daily Brief in the demo workspace, Develop Yourself tab, read the way a leader reads it. Left alone, decisions like these keep landing on the leader instead of the team.

The Develop Yourself tiles (38 meetings, 20 with customers; 52% strategic time; 34 decisions pending, 10 time-sensitive; board meeting in 11 days) and the adaptive read: the 34 decisions are technical calls that belong to someone else, with a safe test for this week and what it unlocks for the business ($650K unstuck).

  1. Signal

34 decisions are waiting on the leader, 10 of them time-sensitive.

  2. Evidence

38 meetings this week, 20 with customers; 52% strategic time; a board meeting in 11 days.

  3. Interpretation

The decisions being ground through are technical calls that belong to someone else.

  4. The move

A safe test this week: name two of them in the next 1:1 and ask the team to bring the recommendation, not the question.

Screens are from the live product running on our demo workspace, Cipher Atlas: a fictional security-software company. Its CRM uses real company names as accounts; the deals, contacts and reps are sample data, and none of those companies is a Management OS customer.

Proven by hand before it was software

The method came first. The software runs it every week.

The sales management operating system built for leaders and used by their teams: insights, coaching and actions to develop yourself, your team and your business. Jason Mesiarik spent twenty years leading revenue teams and training the people who run them; Management OS runs the operating rhythm he used, on your own data, every week.

Questions

Questions about comparing Management OS

We don't run any of these. Where do we start?

Start with your CRM, or the spreadsheet you use instead of one. Connect your CRM in about 5 minutes. Your first brief lands in about 15 minutes. The trial is free for 30 days. Card required. Cancel before day 30 and pay nothing. If you'd rather look first, the product tour needs no login.

Our RevOps team owns Gong and Salesloft. Who owns Management OS?

The leader. A leader can start alone on the trial, and the CRM connection is read-only. Connect your CRM in about 5 minutes. Your first brief lands in about 15 minutes. If your team runs Gong, a Gong administrator approves that connection once.

Is Management OS a replacement for Gong, Salesloft or Backstory?

Usually not. Gong records and analyzes conversations, Salesloft runs the revenue team's system from cadences to the forecast, and Backstory answers deal questions across the org. Management OS works for the leader and runs alongside any of them. It connects to Gong and reads its calls.

Which one is closest to Management OS?

Backstory, formerly People.ai. Both read a team's email, meetings, calls and CRM, answer what is happening on each deal, and help you coach. Management OS also covers the leader's own week, in the same brief.

How do you keep these comparisons fair?

We describe each product only from its own public pages, read on 3 November 2026, credit what it does well, and say where it is the better fit. Where its pages don't describe something, we say so. We have not tested the products head to head.

What about building my own with an AI model?

That comparison has its own pages: what a general AI model can't do for a revenue leader, and what it takes to build and run your own.
